Cool, Calm, Collected.

In the summer of 2018, a friend of mine informed me of an app that can help calm the thoughts that cloud my mind. These are my experiences and my journey into becoming a positive, mindful human being.

Getting a Better Understanding.

I never understood what being mindful truly meant. So I decided to do some research. I started with just googling the definition which states, "inclined to be aware." (Obviously this alone didn't get me very far.)  

 

Since I am a fan of TED talks, I went online and found one that I believe truly captures my experiences and findings with the app Calm and how it has made me feel while using it. Also, I found the perfect article on Calm (by:  Nancy A. Haug, Ph.D.) that goes into greater detail about what the app is all about. Check it out!
